The purpose of this hike is to raise money for cancer awareness and research. We have chosen several charities that we want to assist. We are asking for donations to support cancer research, awareness, and support for survivors under 40.

This worthy cause is to help young cancer survivors get back on their feet professionally and financially. Getting sick and losing years out of what should be when young people are getting their careers going is difficult but when added to the medical bills, it becomes catastrophic. We hope Josh can apply and qualify for a grant to go to culinary school. The more that is donated in his name, the better chance he will receive nearly all of those funds in a grant.
